About the Role:

We are currently looking for highly motivated casual Educators to join our team. These roles will report to the Educational Leaders/Room Leaders.

Hours of Work:

Will be discussed with the successful candidates.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

·        Working towards or completed ACECQA approved Diploma or cert III level qualification.

·        At least one year of experience working in the similar role.

·        Current Working with Children Check/ Working with vulnerable people check or equivalent.

·        National Police Clearance (no older than six months from commencement date) (Vic relevant).

·        A first aid qualification that is approved by ACECQA that includes first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis management

·        Child protection / Mandatory Reporting certification.

·        Food Handling certification.

·        A team player with positive attitude.

·        Be committed in providing a safe inclusive environment for all.

·        A person who takes work ethics seriously.

·        Candidate to have flexible availability during the week.

·        Ability to work with all aged children.

·        Basic Knowledge of EYLF and NQS.

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·        A commitment to early childhood and child development.

Tasks & responsibilities:

·        Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

·        Collaboratively implement a high-quality education and care curriculum for all children

·        Build and maintain professional, inclusive and positive relationships with families, children and staff of the service

·        Work within the National Quality Framework, the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics, the Service philosophy, policies and procedures.

·        Ability to work effectively in a team environment
